Is my equipment information public?
Your equipment records belong to your account. QR labels require owner sign-in to reveal the private record, including prices, receipts, and documents.
Can I use GearVault on my phone?
Yes. GearVault works in your phone’s browser. Upload photos, scan asset labels with your phone camera, and access your records while you’re away from the studio.
Does GearVault calculate my gear’s value?
You can enter and update purchase, estimated resale, and replacement values. You remain in control of the values in your records; they are not certified appraisals.
Is the report an insurance policy?
No. GearVault organizes your equipment records and generates an inventory report to share with your insurer. Your insurer determines coverage and documentation requirements.
